    Tools For Creation

After years of running the same ads, B&H turned to YODI to rethink their print ad strategy that revolved solely around product presentations. For years their print ads featured products, as though it were a page in a catalog. Print would be used less and less as a direct-sales tool, and therefore a new approach was needed. The strategy of featuring products so as to make clear the broad selection of products available, would be kept, though the execution would differ.

A series of ads were created for the four main B&H categories: photo, video, audio and computers. Each ad focused on a group of products setup in their native professional environments, this way the ads can have more engaging visual concepts, while effectively communicating the core messages.

    • Print Ads

Each print ad focused on a professional environment that would typically be found in each category. Here, Capsule Studio in NYC is setup in full gear, sending a clear message that B&H has all the "Tools For Creation." The ads presented a full range of gear common to each scene, that worked together as a full solution.

    • Web Banners

A series of web banners were created to support the campaign on the web, using the same concept of presenting complete solutions.

    • 3D Product Builder

YODI built a 3D Product Builder that allowed users to visualize and configure complete solutions. After making their configurations, a list could be saved or transferred to the e-commerce site for a final sale.

    • Web Spot

A web spot was created to target the audio market to promote the Tools for Creation campaign message and drive traffic back to a mini-site.
